HERE ARE A FEW SFYS HOUSE RULES
- Safety is our number one priority at Soul Flow Yoga Studio
To respect everyone’s time and peace of mind, classes begin at their posted start time. We lock the door when class begins, and it stays locked until we all come out at the end. Plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your class so you have time to get settled.
- Is this your FIRST CLASS with us?
Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here! Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the start time of class so you have adequate time to get acclimated to our space and we can answer any questions you may have to help you feel more at home.
- How do I sign up and book a class?
Step 1: Download our SOUL FLOW YOGA Studio App
Step 2: Create an Account and Set Up your Login Credentials in the Client Portal
Step 3: Fill in Required Info + Sign Digital Waiver
Step 4: Add your C.C., Choose your Purchase Option, and Begin Booking Classes with us!
- Did you show up LATE to a locked door?
We can’t let you in if you’re late to class, so make sure to give yourself enough time to arrive. Please do not knock or bang on the door. We are sorry to have missed you, but for the safety and respect of everyone in the room, the doors will remain locked until the end of class. You can easily cancel yourself out of the class and rebook with your same purchase at another time. Reach out info@soulflowyogastudio.com and we are happy to assist you in this process.
- Curious about heated, warm, and unheated classes?
All heated classes use a combination of Infrared Heat + HVAC technology + Cool Mist Humidity. We keep the temperature at varying degrees depending on the style of class.
Heated classes range between mid 90’s to 102
Warm classes range between mid to high 80’s
Unheated classes are kept comfortable (not cold) around low to high 70’s
*Please note, the season and amount of people in the room will determine how the temperature and humidity will feel in each class. All workshops + events will be kept at a comfortable room temperature depending on the season and type of event
- What is your Cell Phone Policy?
Please turn OFF or silence ALL cellphones/devices and keep them in the lobby area. Give yourself the gift of presence and focus during your practice and respect for each other in the room. *PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT allow recording or pictures of any kind to take place during practice. With permission from the scheduled teacher, you may take photos/videos AFTER practice ends and students are clear from the room.
- Is there an age restriction for classes?
You must be 14 years old or older to practice in any heated classes at SFYS and accompanied by an adult/parent/guardian if you are between the ages of 12-17. If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a parent/guardian signature on the waiver form prior to taking any classes at SFYS. Please email us or talk to us in person if you’re interested in bringing your child under 12 years old to a particular class.
- What do I need to bring with me to class?
All you need is your yoga mat and some water, but in case you forgot something, we have a few extra yoga mats, hand towels, and various props all available for use.
- What else do I need to know about your space?
We are all about COMMUNITY, so we designed our front lobby area just for that! Once you arrive, you can choose to set up your things and remain quietly in the studio room OR come hangout and chat it up with us in the front. We LOVE Choices!! Visit our “Overall FAQS Page” for more details
PRACTICE ROOM ETIQUETTE
Please do your best to remain in the studio room during the entirety of class. If an emergency arises, please immediately inform the teacher in the room
(*If you must leave the room, the front lobby area is available to sit in, but for the safety of teachers/staff/clients, please do not unlock the front door and leave the premises without notifying the teacher)
LATE POLICY
For the safety of all teachers, staff, and clients the front door will be locked at the start of class. If you arrive late, you will NOT be let in, so plan accordingly to arrive in a timely manner. Please don’t knock or bang on the door. You can cancel yourself out of class and rebook using your same purchase for a later date/time. We value the mutual respect and integrity expressed in this community and do not charge late cancelation fees at this time.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Refunds will not be offered on any Single Class Drop-Ins, Class Packages, Monthly Auto-Payments, Yearly Unlimited Packages, Workshops, Teacher Trainings or Retail but can remain as a usable credit for your next booking within a reasonable time
TRANSFERS
Single Class Drop-Ins, Class Packages, Monthly Auto-Payments, Yearly Unlimited Packages, Workshops and Teacher Trainings are all non-transferable
SHARED PACKAGE OPTIONS
The following packages are the only “shareable” memberships we offer and are charged under the original purchaser’s account:
- 20 + 50 Class Packages can be shared between 2 people
- Monthly Unlimited Autopay (Two-Person) Contract Membership
AUTO-PAYMENTS
Auto-Payments are billed on a monthly recurring basis.
All auto-payments require a minimum of a 4 or 6 month commitment. Your term begins on the date of purchase. Check your contract for additional terms and conditions.
*Please Note: You CANNOT freeze your account or skip a month and if you choose to cancel your membership, you will pay the current price to reinstate a new autopay membership.
CANCELATION POLICY
To cancel your autopay membership, you need to send an email to info@soulflowyogastudio.com at least 30 days BEFORE your next billing cycle and only AFTER your initial commitment has been met. Check your contract for terms and conditions.
PACKAGE EXPIRATIONS
All purchases have a designated expiration so please plan accordingly when choosing your purchase option –
Introductory Offers have a 1-month expiration from date of purchase and are for *NEW STUDENTS ONLY* who are visiting us for the very 1st time!
Class Package memberships each have designated expirations and DO NOT roll over after expiration date so please plan accordingly with your purchase and schedule:
- 5 Classes / 2mo.
- 10 Classes / 3mo.
- 20 Classes / 6mo.
- 50 Classes / 9mo.
- 1 Month Unlimited (NO Autopay) / 1mo.
Yearly Unlimited Packages begin on date of purchase, not the date you take your first class
Autopay Memberships are contractual and require an initial 4-6 month commitment so please plan accordingly when purchasing. *read cancelation policy and contract terms prior to signing and agreeing to this package type
LOST & FOUND
If you think you may have left something behind, holler at us. Send us an email or message us on our IG or FB pages and we’ll check around the studio for you. Any items left behind are set near our cubby area, but please be aware that all items unclaimed for more than 2-3 months will be donated.
SFYS is not responsible for any lost or stolen items in the studio.
STUDIO ETTIQUETTE
We open our doors 15-20 minutes prior to class. New students should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early. Doors are locked at the posted start time of each class.
Before Class
- You are welcome to linger in the front room or get settled in the studio room
- Please be ready to begin on your mat AT the scheduled start time
- Inform your instructor of any health issues before taking a class
- Leave shoes in the designated area. NO shoes in the studio room
- Leave cell phones outside the studio room
- Enter the studio with your mat, water, and an open mind
During Class
We love cultivating community in this space, it’s kinda what we are all about!
- Please keep all side conversations for before and after class in the front lobby space and give yourself the gift of being fully present during your practice.
- All students are required to practice with a yoga mat/rug
- Do your very best to stay in the studio room once class begins. If an emergency requires you to leave, please inform the teacher immediately
After Class
- Leave the room mindfully. The front lobby area is a great place to hang out and chat before going back to your day.
- Please spray, wipe down, and return borrowed mats/props and put used towels in the designated laundry basket.
