As a lifelong competitive and collegiate athlete, I swore I would NEVER do yoga. I was very judgmental of it, but because God has a sense of humor, I found myself on my mat- loving it- at the beginning of my recovery journey. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2017. I am Trauma Sensitive Yoga certified and NuSCULPT certified, with additional vinyasa and anatomy training.
During my classes, I teach with the intention for students to reconnect with their breath and bodies. I encourage mind-body connection and awareness, and truly believe yoga is for every person and every body. Besides yoga, I love to be outdoors, hike, travel, and spend
time with my husband and chosen family. I have the best job ever as a clinic nurse at TN School for the Blind, and also work with a local dog rescue serving special needs pups.
