As a proud native of Nashville, Ken approaches teaching with the heart of a servant and strives to welcome, inform, and encourage every student to discover the true joys of yoga!
Ken strongly believes that the benefits of practicing in a yoga studio environment are available to everyone. After many years of being overweight and sedentary, he drastically improved his health and well-being through physical fitness, healthier eating, and being mindful of how his thoughts affect the way he shows up for himself and others.
While he also enjoys activities like hiking, running, and cycling, Ken credits his yoga practice and its holistic approach, to strengthening both the body and mind, and providing the biggest strides on his path of transformation.
Ken is a 200-hr Certified Yoga Instructor, trained in Baron Baptiste’s Power Yoga, Baptiste Art of Assisting Program; and Teacher Training through the Love Your Brain Foundation.
“I tend to be a little obsessive-compulsive, so some of my friends call me Sheldon, after the character Sheldon Cooper, from the TV show ‘Big Bang Theory’.”
