Loving yoga for over two decades, and being a teacher of some kind for even longer, the decision to become a yoga teacher came naturally. Encouraged by a friend, I completed my 200 hour hatha vinyasa training and was so inspired by the depth and variety of everything yoga that I am now working on my 300 hour certificate.
As a practitioner, I particularly enjoy being guided to interweave body and mind, movement, and breath through creative sequences where everything but the present moment melts away.
As a teacher, I want you to experience that too.
Yoga can be peaceful, freeing, and energizing, but it’s also sweaty, messy, and challenging. I believe that when you listen to your body (honor your limitations, respect the balance between strength and flexibility, safely explore your mobility range, stay attuned to your moods) and let your breath guide you, yoga offers everyone a chance to experience pure JOY.
Off my mat, you can often find me raising my three kids, walking in nature, kayaking, watching British detective series, having a glass of wine with friends, or eating treats with my family in France.
Although in my personal practice I often enjoy challenging classes (with backbends and inversions!) I enjoy teaching a more accessible slower flow, striving for balance: spirit & body, strength & stretch, shapes & breath, asanas & mindfulness. My hope is that you step off the mat, refreshed/revitalized/energized, feeling stronger and more flexible.”
