Thanks to yoga, I’ve learned to take care of myself and be a better person off the mat. Be an observer of my thoughts, movement, and breath. Challenge myself or stay centered. Get curious about my mind, body, and soul. Am I authentically honoring myself in the present moment?

Jennie’s yoga journey began in 2017 searching for a healthy relationship with exercise. CrossFit and running weren’t working out. No pun intended! She wanted to learn all she could by taking classes everywhere: a goat farm, the library, parks, breweries, restaurants, music venues, studios, and online. Showing up helped her establish a consistent practice.

In 2021, she completed her 200-hr to deepen her practice. However, saying yes to teaching made her step outside her comfort zone. She’s grateful for the time she spends with her students, colleagues, and mentors in the community.
